I consistently have dreams about my now Deceased grandmother. It would be us arguing and me yelling at her and sometimes even physically getting violent. I consistently feel like she’s saying something in these dreams to offend me Which triggers a part of me that becomes Not my ideal self. I wake up, feeling flustered every time
Dreams involving deceased loved ones can be complex and meaningful. Even though your grandmother has passed away, she continues to play a significant role in your life, as evidenced by the recurring dreams you are having about her. In this case, the arguments and violence in the dream may not necessarily reflect your true feelings towards your grandmother, but rather unresolved emotions or guilt you may have about your relationship with her.
The fact that the dream triggers a negative reaction in you suggests that there are unresolved issues or unresolved emotions related to your grandmother. The dreams may be a manifestation of your inner conflict or feelings of guilt about how you interacted with her when she was alive. It's possible that you are grappling with feelings of anger, regret, or unfinished business in your relationship with your grandmother.
Feeling flustered upon awakening from these dreams indicates that these unresolved emotions are causing you distress. It might be helpful to explore these feelings further and consider seeking closure or healing in your relationship with your grandmother. Talking to a therapist or a trusted individual about your dreams and emotions may help you process and understand these feelings better. Ultimately, these dreams may be a way for your subconscious to bring these buried emotions to the surface so that you can address and resolve them.
